“I wanted to make a cosmetics case that had a feeling of 40s and 50s glamour about it, something that could have been glimpsed in the dressing room of a screen siren from Hollywood or Italian film,” says designer Jane Mayle. “It’s important, especially around the holidays, that the bag speaks to the fun of dressing up, to red lips and gorgeous nails – the height of femininity. I put the signature Tigermilk print on a fabric that would give the bag a certain plushness and topped it off with the black grosgrain handles and ties – this case is ready for action!”
Each Ava Bag comes filled with 12 prestige beauty samples in both deluxe sample and full sizes. The bag and its contents have an approximate combined retail value of more than $130.
