Kenzo’s newest take on its classic FLOWERBYKENZO is the sensual and powdery FLOWERBYKENZO ESSENTIELLE (.8 oz $58.00, 1.5 oz $75.00, 2.5 oz 92.00).
This sexy scent is classified as a sensual floral and is perfect for the colder weather of the fall. The scent is described as:

Unidentified Fragrance Object
KENZO, one of my favorite perfume companies, has come out with a warm and sensuous new fragrance that is great for the cooler temperatures of the fall.
But Unidentified Fragrance Object ($188.00 1.4 oz) is not your usual perfume. Kenzo has teamed with designer Ron Arad, having Arad design a unique bottle for the fragrance that is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Since each individual bottle is hand-polished, only 1000 units will be produced for the United States. It is only available at Bergdorf Goodman and kenzousa.com starting in August 2009.
The fragrance breaks with industry codes; rejecting the traditional olfactory pyramid and instead balancing between a powerful heart, “the marble accord” and four natural raw ingredients. The ingredients are Bulgarian Rose, Vanilla, Orange Blossom and Frankincense.
This is a very strong scent that would work well for going out. When I spray it on, all of the ingredients meld together to make a spicy and sweet scent. The Frankincense over-powers the other scents, but I can still pick out the Vanilla, Orange Blossom and even a bit of the Rose.

L'eauparKenzo Ryoko
Kenzo has some of the freshest fragrances I have tried. So I was excited to find that they have created the perfect fragrance product for travel, Ryoko. Ryoko means travel in Japanese and Kenzo takes fragrance into uncharted territory with this airline-friendly, pocket sized nomad spray.
The Ryoko ($29.00 .7oz) comes in 5 of Kenzo’s most recognized perfumes; L’eauparKenzo, FlowerbyKenzo and KenzoAmour for women plus Kenzo Homme and L’euaparKenzo Homme. They are housed in a little pebble sized spray bottle that comes suspended in a cube. It is very cute and portable. Stash it in your purse and go!
I was able to try the fresh, aquatic scent of L’eauparKenzo Ryoko. This Kenzo classic includes notes of lotus flower, frosted mint and pink pepper. It is soft, with a hint of spice.
If a floral is more your style, try the FlowerbyKenzo Ryoko which has notes of bulgarian rose, parma violet and white musk. Like a sultrier scent? Go for the KenzoAmour Ryoko with notes of gentle rice, musk and frangipani blossom.

L’eauparkenzo Eau Homme Indigo
Kenzo has recently released a summer version of their popular L’eauparkenzo fragrances for men and women. The website describes these, “As night falls, L’eau par Kenzo becomes Eau Indigo, a pair of sensual fragrances for him and her inspired by the seductive dance of color and scent as dusk sets on water. Fresh, zesty notes unfold into a sensual base built around an amber note. L’eau par Kenzo eau Indigo captures the moment when twilight skims over water’s surface and the heat of the day tangos with chilly whispers of the night, releasing a unique scent suggestive of the possibility and adventure yet to come.”
These are very seductive, evening scents. The bottles are curved like waves and fit together. The man’s bottle is a dark blue and the women’s a deep purple.
L’eauparkenzo Eau Indigo ($55.00 USD) – The women’s scent is very warm and spicy. It is a great summer evening scent because it is glamorous and sultry. The notes are:
Top notes — bergamot essence and mandarin essence, Heart notes — sambac jasmine absolut, orange blossom absolut, and ylang ylang essence, Base notes — tonka bean absolut, amber note
L’eauparkenzo Eau Homme Indigo ($55.00 USD) – It’s interesting to me that the man’s fragrance seems lighter and fruitier than the women’s. It has a sultry base note of amber and tonka bean, but is fresher than the ultra-spicy woman’s scent.
An explosive zesty facet — ginger notes with gourmand and lemony hints, fresh spicy notes of coriander and elemi. A sensual woody facet — vibrant woody notes of vetiver and cedar, sensual amber notes of labdanum and tonka bean

Milky Rice Body Scrub
Kenzo has recently released Barefeet Fantasy ($30.00 USD), a rich balm to get the feel ready for sandals this summer. The ingredients include cupuaçu butter (an herbal butter belonging to the cacao family) and shea butter to nourish and sooth the feet. It also contains rice plant water which has been touted to reinforce the antiradical activity of anti-oxidizing agents.
Before applying the balm, I like to scrub my feet with Kenzo’s Milky Rice Body Scrub ($42.00 USD) — which is also a great scrub for the whole body. It has a very unusual texture from the exfoliating particles that contain rice wax and rice powder, but it smooths the skin very nicely.
Both products’ fragrance is from Kenzo’s Sensual line of body products, with the main scent being rice water. The scent is very soft and musky and is very nice.

I am so excited, as this is my 100th blog post! I started my blog in September 2008. But since January, I have received lots of fantastic products from fab companies to sample and review. I have looked back and found my 5 very favorite products or companies. These items are so good, I would definitely purchase them!
1. Lipstick Queen Big Bang Illusion Gloss ($20.00 USD www.lipstickqueen.com) — is probably the best gloss I have tried. Its light reflecting particles create the illusion of fuller lips without irritating ingredients. And it is creamy, not sticky. FAB!
2. Anything from Kenzo (www.kenzousa.com)! From their fragrances to their skincare items, Kenzo is all about quality and just plain fabulosity! Their scents are very subtle and fresh, like the Eau de Fleur de The – Tea (1.7 oz , $55.00 USD).
3. EcoTools (www.parispresents.com/EcoTools_s/36.htm) Makes the most wonderful — and affordable — makeup brushes and tools and are created from recycled and sustainable materials. I’m really digging the Foundation Brush ($5.99 USD) and the Recycled Aluminum Retractable Kabuki Brush ($7.99 USD) right now, but their are so many to choose from!
4. Tigi Love, Peace & The Planet line is a really fantastic eco-friendly line for your hair. The Eco Awesome Cranberry Orange Mint Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner($19.95 each USD) smells out of this world! It’s not up on the TIGI Website yet, but it should be soon.
5. LUSH (www.lushusa.com) makes lovely fresh handmade bath and beauty items. I really love their bath bombs! What a fun treat. But they also make quality skincare and haircare.

Kenzo is fast becoming one of my favorite brands. From their lovely fragrances to their fabulous skincare, everything I have tried has been wonderful!
FLOWERBYKENZO Spring Fragrance Limited Edition ($52.00 USD 1.7 ox) -This fragrance is a limited edition that will only be available this April on the Kenzo website at www.kenzousa.com.
The Notes are:
Top Notes: Ginger, Mandarin, Lychee Middle Notes: Freesia, Ylang, Parma Violet Base Notes: Incense, White Musk
This is a very soft fragrance. I have noticed that each time I spray it on, I detect a different note. When first applied, the scent is a mix of floral and fruity (I can really detect the mandarin and violet) and dries down to a powdery musk. I really enjoy it and have been receiving many compliments!
The Kenzo Cleansing Ice Jelly ($28.00 USD 5.1 oz) is a new cleanser that is very effective at removing even waterproof eye make up. It is a self-cooling cleansing jelly that turns into a soft, water-like cleanser upon skin contact. It is very refreshing, especially if you chill it before using. The scent is an invigorating flowery ginger. The ingredients include plant water, ginger plant water, ginseng extract, essential oils and trace elements and minerals salts.

Kenzo Belle De Jour
Belle De Jour (1.7 oz $105.00 USD) is a luxurious cream from Kenzo. “White lotus water is the heart of its secret formula. This natural and potent ingredient has proven relaxing and anti-free radical effects and helps restore skin to its natural balance.” The interesting thing about this cream is that the lotus flower counteracts the stress hormone cortisol’s levels in your skin and relaxes it. This make the skin clearer and smoother.
And it really works. After using it for just a week my skin looked good, and now a few weeks later, my skin is very smooth and glowing. Ladies, I look younger!
My 13 year old daughter has eczema and it gets pretty severe on her face during cold weather. She had red patches under her eyes that were so bad she didn’t want to go to school. So I offered my Belle De Jour, and her face cleared up in a couple of days, and it is now very soft and smooth.
I put the cream on before bed and in the morning after cleansing. It isn’t greasy, but it is creamy so it needs a few minutes to soak in before makeup application. It smells fantastic, too. Two thumbs way up from me.

Kenzo Eau de Fleur de The - Tea
Kenzo is known for their lovely fragrances such as Flower by Kenzo and Kenzo Amour. They have just introduced a new fragrance line for Spring: the Eaux de Fleurs Collection. The Kenzo website describes the collection as; “Kenzo flower waters are picked from Japanese trees. Each eau de toilette in the collection evokes a delicate trail of tree blossom. Three new fragrances made of natural, clear and streamlined floral notes. Every year, Kenzo will enrich this collection by picking another flower.” There are three fragrances in this collection:
Eau de Fleur de Soie Silk (1.7 oz , $55.00) – a silk flower fragrance that is ”a crimson floral note with a tender, fruity heart.”
Eau de Fleur de Magnolia (1.7 oz , $55.00) — a magnolia fragrance that is “a radiant floral bouquet, bursting with hesperidian notes.”
Eau de Fleur de The – Tea (1.7 oz , $55.00) — a green tea fragrance that is “a floral concoction with notes of green tea and a hint of musk.”
I have only tried the Eau de Fleur de The – Tea and I think it’s wonderful. It is a very bright, yet soft musk. It’s not too sweet, which is perfect for me. I think the Silk or the Magnolia scents would be wonderful if you’re in the mood for something more flowery or fruity. The tea fragrance is great for every day. I get lots of compliments at work when I wear it.
