Set it Free ($17.95 6 oz) Is a frizz-stopping spray that also gives long-lasting hold.  It is made with shine-enhancing Beeswax and Olive Oil and is scented with zesty lemon-lime. I like to use this on wet and dry hair for maximum shine and hold.

Then apply your favorite lipstick on the stamp, don’t be shy. I found that a full color, opaque lipstick works better than sheer. I love using my Lorac Breakthrough Performance Lipstick with it. One the stamp is saturated with lipstick, line the stamp up with your lips and press on! Orly Once Upon a Time Collection

Palladio Cosmetics Part 2 — More Great Herbal Cosmetics!

I have reviewed the herbal, vitamin enriched and very affordable Palladio beauty products before. I have recently tried some different products from this great line and wanted to share!  

The Rice Paper ($4.00) is one of Palladio’s most ingenious and bestselling products. This is a very unique, oil-absorbing two-sided, tissue that is made with natural rice.  The matte side (without powder) is for blotting to absorb the excess oils and the powdered side is for finishing. This neat product is packaged in a pull out tissue packet that is will fit in even the smallest handbag. It comes in Translucent, Natural for lighter skin tones and Warm Beige for darker skin tones. This is great for mid-day freshening up.

For lip products, I love the Lip Ink ($6.00)  and the Plump n’ Shine Lip Gloss ($6.00). The lip ink is like a marker for the lips. It is touted as hydrating and waterproof, but it actually makes my lips a little dry. I do love the stained look it give. I tried Rose, which is like my lips, but brighter! To keep lips moisturized, I like applying the Plump n’ shine gloss over the Lip Ink. This gloss has a collagen and maxi lip formula for luscious plumped up lips. It includes a brush applicator and is enriched with herbal ingredients. This is not a plumper that stings, it naturally enhances lips.

Herbal Mascaras ($6.00) — are uniquely packaged with a brush and lash separator on one end. They are fortified with panthenol and vitamin B5 to strengthen and  thicken lashes. They are also enriched with 5 beneficial herbs: ginseng, green tea, gingko biloba, chamomile and aloe vera for conditioning. The mascara are available in Lengthening, Thickening and Waterproof formulas. I have the thickening mascara and it does thicken my lashes and doesn’t run.

ecoTOOLS Creams Keep Hands and Feet Soft!

I love the ecoTools’s Bath and Body collection. Not only are all of the products 98% natural and paraben, phthalate and cruelty free; they also are packaged in  recyclable bottles and the ingredients are biodegradable and dermatologist, allergy and clinically tested.

I have recently tried a couple more of these products including the One Hand Helps the Other Intensive Hand Cream ($7.99). This jojoba oil formula, not only makes my dry hands incredibly soft, I think it smells fantastic! The scent is a bit strong, so if there is someone in the next cubicle to you at work who is scent sensitive — leave it at home!  

The Love Heels All Intensive Heel Cream ($7.99) is also very nice, but it is a thicker formula than the hand cream. This is very moisturizing and will help cracked winter feet. This scent is minty and also very nice. This cream contains repairing natural butters to soften dry feet and hands.

China Glaze Khrome polishes for fall is a beautiful collection of opaque metallic nail polishes. There are 6 polishes in the collection. They are:

Millennium — pure metallic silver

Metallic Muse — soft blue-green

Sci-Fi — lavender-silver metallic

Robotika – plummy brown

2030 — warm gold

Hi-Tek — bronze-copper

All of these colors are beautiful and long lasting. I applied Millennium and 2030 to my 5-year-old daughter’s nails and it stayed on for 4 or 5 days without chipping! I do recommend that nails are buffed first for maximum staying power, plus the chrome finish will be smoother.  My favorites are Metallic Muse and Robotika. So different and pretty.

Sue Devitt Creates Exotically Beautiful Makeup

Australian makeup artist and cosmetic creator Sue Devitt’s personal mantra is “Beauty is an adventure”…with endless destinations. She is inspired by the natural beauty of the many exotic places that she has traveled such as India and Tanzania. Here cosmetics are exotic, but very wearable!

I really love the Sue Devitt Eye Intensifier Pencil ($22.00) This is a thick, smudgey pencil that glides on easily and makes a great smokey eye. The pencil can be drawn on with a thick line for high drama or smudged into a sexy, smoky look. There is a built-in smudger on the end of it that is tapered and can be used to soften the line of the pencil. I found that it lasted all day and stayed put. This great pencil is available in 13 shades.
 
I have also tried the E-Z Eye Roller Ball Eye Shadow ($18.00), a pure-pigmented roller ball shadow.  It is unusual for a roller ball to go on with so much color – this is definitely not a delicate product: not for the shy! It is very shimmery and although it can be blended for day use, I highly recommend it for the evening. This shadow is available in 10 shades.
